Steve Fleck is an experienced entrepreneur whose career has focused on disruptive healthcare technologies and technology-enabled services.
In 2013, Steve founded Careform to provide a commercialization services platform to the world’s leading specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers. As CEO of Careform, Steve built a high-performing company culture and sustained over 90% annual revenue and EBITDA growth in each year of the company’s operation. The company quickly became the industry leader in technology-enabled patient support services.

After the acquisition of Careform in 2017 by ConnectiveRx, a Genstar Capital portfolio company and leader in pharmaceutical commercialization services, Steve was named Chief Operating Officer of ConnectiveRx. During Steve’s tenure he successfully integrated operations, product, and other functional areas across ConnectiveRx, enabling new integrated solutions as well as streamlining operations. Steve was instrumental in the company’s continued rapid growth across its campuses in Pittsburgh, PA, Whippany, NJ, and several regional offices.
Prior to Careform, Steve was co-founder of ClearCount Medical Solutions and served as its CEO and CTO from 2004 to 2013. Under Steve’s leadership ClearCount developed and commercialized innovative patient safety solutions for the surgical operating room. Steve holds twelve patents in surgical technologies that were commercialized by ClearCount prior to being acquired by Stryker Medical.
Steve’s passion for guiding businesses through transformative periods of growth is reflected in his ongoing work with entrepreneurs as both an advisor and investor. Steve has served on several boards of early-stage businesses including medical devices and enterprise technologies. Steve has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Carnegie Mellon University, as an advisor to Innovation Works and Alpha Labs in Pittsburgh, and as a mentor at Nantucket Island Center for Entrepreneurship. He earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a BS in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University.
